What we check

Your identity — verified electronically against official government records from the licence or passport number you type in. No photos, no uploads.
Your lease — confirmed directly with your property manager: current rent, lease dates, tenant status. You never chase paperwork.
Property ownership — we confirm the property is yours.
Your payout account — verified so funds can only ever go to an account in your control.
Sanctions screening — a legal requirement for every Australian financial services business. It is not a credit check.

What we never check

Your credit file. No credit bureau enquiry, ever — nothing appears on your file, and your borrowing capacity is not assessed. We verify your rent, not your score.

Your data

We collect only what the checks above require, we handle it under the Australian Privacy Principles, and we never sell it. Full detail in our Privacy Policy.

Timing

Identity and ownership checks usually finish within minutes. Your property manager's confirmation is typically the last piece — most applicants have an offer within one business day.
